Terms and Conditions
Last Updated: October 3, 2026
Welcome to Fraud Counsel. These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the Fraud Counsel website, services, communications, reports, and related resources.
By accessing our website or requesting or purchasing services from Fraud Counsel, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms. If you do not agree with these Terms, please do not use our services.
1. About Fraud Counsel
Fraud Counsel provides services related to fraud case review, blockchain analysis, cryptocurrency transaction tracing, digital asset investigations, and related investigative assistance.
Our services are intended to help clients understand and document suspicious transactions, fraudulent activity, and potential options available based on the information provided.
2. No Guarantee of Recovery
Fraud Counsel does not guarantee that cryptocurrency, digital assets, money, or other property that has been lost, stolen, transferred, or obtained through fraud will be recovered.
The ability to trace a transaction does not necessarily mean that the associated funds can be recovered, frozen, returned, or seized.
Results depend on numerous factors outside our control, including blockchain activity, the availability and accuracy of information, actions taken by exchanges or financial institutions, applicable laws, law-enforcement involvement, and the actions of third parties.
No statement on our website or in communications with Fraud Counsel should be interpreted as a promise or guarantee of a particular financial or investigative outcome.
3. Nature of Our Services
Depending on the service requested, Fraud Counsel may provide services including:
- Review of information relating to suspected cryptocurrency or investment fraud;
- Blockchain and cryptocurrency transaction analysis;
- Transaction tracing;
- Digital asset fraud investigation;
- Documentation of transaction activity;
- Scam case assessment;
- Investigative reports; and
- General recovery-related assistance.
The precise scope of services may vary depending on the client’s circumstances and the service agreed upon.
4. No Legal, Financial, or Investment Advice
Unless expressly stated otherwise in a separate written agreement, information provided through Fraud Counsel is for investigative and informational purposes.
Nothing on our website should be interpreted as legal, financial, tax, or investment advice.
Where appropriate, clients should consult a qualified attorney, financial professional, tax adviser, law-enforcement agency, cryptocurrency exchange, or other appropriate authority.
5. Client Responsibilities
Clients are responsible for providing truthful, complete, and accurate information.
You must not knowingly provide Fraud Counsel with falsified documents, fabricated transaction information, unauthorized account credentials, or information obtained unlawfully.
You are responsible for maintaining control over your cryptocurrency wallets, private keys, passwords, seed phrases, exchange accounts, and other sensitive credentials.
Fraud Counsel will never require a client’s wallet seed phrase or private key in order to conduct ordinary blockchain transaction analysis. Clients should never disclose such credentials through our website, email, telephone, or other communication channels.
6. Blockchain and Cryptocurrency Risks
Cryptocurrency transactions may be irreversible. Fraud Counsel does not control any blockchain network, cryptocurrency exchange, wallet provider, bank, payment processor, or other third-party platform.
We cannot reverse blockchain transactions or independently compel an exchange, financial institution, government agency, or other third party to freeze or return assets.
Blockchain analysis and transaction tracing may identify transaction paths or addresses, but such analysis does not necessarily establish the legal identity of the individual or organization controlling a particular wallet.
7. Fees and Payment
Any applicable fees will be disclosed to the client in connection with the requested service.
Unless otherwise agreed in writing, payment of a service fee does not guarantee the recovery of funds or any specific investigative result.
Clients should review the applicable service description, pricing information, and payment terms before purchasing a service.
Additional work outside the originally agreed scope may require additional fees. Where applicable, these will be communicated before additional paid work is performed.
8. Refunds
Refund eligibility, where applicable, depends on the service purchased, whether work has commenced, and the circumstances of the request.
Because investigative, analytical, and transaction-tracing services may involve professional time and resources that cannot be recovered once performed, completed work may not be eligible for a refund.
Any applicable refund terms communicated at the time of purchase or contained in a separate written service agreement will also apply.
9. Third-Party Services
Our website or services may reference or interact with third-party websites, blockchain explorers, cryptocurrency exchanges, financial institutions, government resources, or other external services.
Fraud Counsel does not control these third parties and is not responsible for their availability, security, accuracy, policies, decisions, or actions.
References to third-party organizations do not imply an endorsement, partnership, affiliation, or authorization unless expressly stated.
10. Prohibited Use
You may not use Fraud Counsel’s website or services to:
- Engage in fraudulent or unlawful activity;
- Attempt to obtain unauthorized access to another person’s assets or accounts;
- Launder or conceal the origin of funds;
- Harass, threaten, deceive, or impersonate another person;
- Submit intentionally false or misleading information;
- Interfere with the security or operation of our website; or
- Use our reports or services for unlawful purposes.
We reserve the right to refuse or discontinue services where we reasonably believe our services are being misused.
11. Intellectual Property
Unless otherwise indicated, website content, branding, reports, graphics, text, and other materials produced by Fraud Counsel are protected by applicable intellectual property laws.
You may not reproduce, distribute, modify, sell, or commercially exploit our proprietary materials without authorization, except where permitted by law or expressly authorized in writing.
12. Privacy
Our collection and handling of personal information are governed by our Privacy Policy.
Clients should review the Privacy Policy to understand how information submitted through the website or during the provision of services may be collected, used, stored, and protected.
13. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Fraud Counsel will not be liable for losses resulting from circumstances outside our reasonable control, including cryptocurrency market movements, irreversible blockchain transactions, actions of scammers, third-party platform decisions, exchange restrictions, banking decisions, cybersecurity incidents involving third parties, or actions or inaction by government or law-enforcement agencies.
Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability where such exclusion or limitation would be prohibited by applicable law.
14. No Government or Exchange Affiliation
Unless explicitly disclosed otherwise, Fraud Counsel is an independent service provider and is not a government agency, law-enforcement agency, cryptocurrency exchange, blockchain network, bank, or financial regulator.
We do not claim authority to seize, freeze, reverse, or independently return cryptocurrency or other assets.
15. Changes to These Terms
Fraud Counsel may update these Terms periodically to reflect changes to our services, business practices, or applicable requirements.
Updated Terms will be posted on our website with a revised “Last Updated” date. Continued use of our website or services after an update constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms to the extent permitted by applicable law.
